deur/ een luis in de pels/ een 'mol' in de kliek, om de
fraude, corruptie, enz. te bestrijden.  Omdat deze fraude,
corruptie, machtsmisbruik, vriendjes politiek, wederrechtelijke 
zelfverrijking, enz.gepaard gaat met / het gevolg zijn van
het ondemocratisch handelen en/of dit tot gevolg hebben, zou
hij het kwaad bij de wortel kunnen aanpakken en/of tenminste
zodanig in de openbaarheid kunnen brengen en houden, dat er
op termijn iets kan verbeteren."

I subscribe to this POV, however great a total restructuring
(from the outside) of the European politcal structure would be,
I don't think this is achievable via blank votes, this force
seems too subtle (too weak?), to be picked up by the politicians
and the mainstream media (IOW: they won't let it happen).

I prefer the use of legal (and in some situations illegal)
force when people are abusing their power over other people,
especially when they are limiting their freedom in serious
ways. In my opinion we may soon need a physical counter-balance
against the police state that Europe seems to be becoming.
Otherwise the corporations and corrupt political parties
will abuse their power to stay in power.

Voting for a left-wing progressive party (eg. the Greens) will
therefore do more good in the short-term (and long-term) I think,
rather than letting the corrupt and conservative parties ponder
over a sizeable amount of blank votes. They have interests which
will prevail if we let them.

So join the Green or Tranparent experiment to reform political
Europe from the inside :)
