OK, it's started. I've did some searching for a tool to convert a CVS repository to Arch. I found the tla-cvs-sync script, in the tla-tools Debian package. However, I'd rather use a simpler tool: I am not interested in maintaining projects in both CVS and Arch format. Do you know of a simpler tool, which just converts one way?
