as far as I know my burner can also handle rewritables, but I have not
yet tried this.

I would like to try the Hurd as well: I have a clean partition after
a failed experiment with darwin. 

I believe Joost van Baal has it running: Joost, how did you install it?
I did not find any iso images.

Ja, voor zover ik weet heeft Joos van Baal een Hurd installatie: Joost, hoe
heb je die geinstalleerd ? Ik geen iso images gevonden.
