this week
After having demonstrated against the software patent directive
in Strasbourg (it was a lot of fun actually!), and the massive
rejection of the council/commission proposal the day after
(http://wiki.ffii.org/Ep050706En), more good news is coming.
Mandriva, Progeny and Turbolinux are going to create an enterprise
GNU/Linux distribution based on Debian Sarge:

I believe its good to see more and more commercialisation around
Debian, since it will not only help business who want an alternative
to SuSE or Red Hat, but also give Debian more visibility and
credibility in this software market.
For people who like to frequently read slashdot/osnews/lwn/planetkde
and such, I have setup a Free Software news planet which aggregates
about 60 RSS feeds from various free software projects:
http://debianlinux.net/planet/
I find I can read more interesting free software news in less time,
due to this feed. If you know of other interesting free software
projects with an RSS feed, let me know.
Also, my Wikicompany presentation outline for Wikimania 2005
(http://wikimania.wikimedia.org) is now online:
http://wikicompany.org/wiki/Wikicompany:Wikimania_2005
Wikicompany now has over 500 company profiles online
(http://wikicompany.org/wiki/Category:Companies).
