For that, my free Freeler account worked very reliably (also over ISDN).

Shame that Xs4all offers just 320 Kbit upload in their 40 euro per month
offering (Demon: 512), since for the rest they offer a much more
complete package than Demon: homepage 50Mbytes instead of 20, 5 iso. 1 
mbox, email is filtered on virusses and spam, free dialin account. 
But than again, if I run my own server and still want to use most bandwidth 
myself, only the larger homepage and the dialin account remain "real" 
extra's (I could even make my own dialin facility if really needed :-)

Puzzles me too. Maybe UPC is too busy selling cable telephony and TV+ 
packages :-)

Indeed, Demon also had a special offer until Dec. 31, now extended until
Feb 1: the modem for free and no connection costs.
